For carriers, posts and parcel networks

Launch a European corridor without building the last mile

I help carriers choose the right delivery partners in a new European market, design the cross-border product around them and lead the rollout: services, data, integration, customs and returns.

When to use it

A partner network is a product decision, not just a contract

When a carrier enters a new European country through partners, the partner choice decides what the end customer actually gets: home delivery or PUDO, locker coverage, delivery attempts, tracking quality, returns options and transit times. Picking on rate alone often leaves you with a product your merchants can't sell.

Good fit: posts, CEP carriers and parcel networks adding a European corridor, building an international product for merchants, or replacing a partner that no longer performs.

Two ways to work

Blueprint, or blueprint plus rollout

Corridor blueprint, from €3,750

For one corridor or destination country: your product requirements, a partner and service capability comparison, high-level commercial and risk view, integration and customs requirements, and an implementation roadmap. Contract negotiation and system builds aren't part of this scope.

Rollout leadership, from €7,500

The blueprint plus an agreed period of active partner evaluation and implementation coordination: workstreams, milestone reviews, test plans and launch. You keep contracting and operational resources; I lead the work. Payment is split into milestones.

Deliverables

What you get

  • Country and partner capability matrix: home, PUDO, lockers, returns, special services.
  • Network and product options with trade-offs between service, cost and risk.
  • Evaluation and selection criteria you can reuse in tenders.
  • Partner onboarding workstream and responsibilities.
  • API, label, tracking-event and manifest requirements.
  • Customs and returns operating model where the corridor crosses a customs border.
  • Rollout plan and, with leadership, delivery of it.

Where my work stops

I don't guarantee partner contracts, rates, capacity or introductions; I evaluate options and help you negotiate and implement where feasible. Additional markets, partner sourcing beyond the agreed shortlist, travel, legal work and system development are quoted separately. Prices exclude VAT.

Why me

I helped build a European partner network from the inside

In international product roles at Hermes I helped build its European network, integrated a large part of its European PUDO offering and worked on cross-border, bulky and returns-collection products. I have worked with carriers including Evri, Mondial Relay, InPost, Correos, Colis Privé, PostNL, PostNord, Itella and DPD, across 18+ carrier and API integrations.

Questions

Before we start

Can you introduce us to partners?

I can name and evaluate the realistic options in a market and help you approach them. I don't sell introductions or guarantee that a partner will sign.

Do you work for carriers or for merchants?

Both, but never for both sides of the same deal without telling everyone. For carriers I focus on product, partner and integration work.

Can you also lead the technical integration?

Yes. That's the Carrier Integration & Logistics Systems offer, and it can run alongside the rollout.
